We did something a little different! Take a peek at our live recording where we discuss the history and services of the Educational Opportunity Program at Chico State University and how the team has remained committed to supporting low-income students since the program’s inception. 

Our Guests

Vikki Bass

Victoria is the Associate Director of EOP. She was born and raised in Northern California. She received her BA in social sciences with an emphasis in history from Sonoma State University and continued on to receive a teaching credential from CSU, Chico. She has always had a passion for education and greets every day looking forward to helping students in any way she can! 

Xia “Billy” Lo 

Xia Lo….who also goes by, “Billy” is the First-Year Experience Coordinator for EOP at Chico State. Billy is an alumus of Sonoma State University and joined EOP in the Spring of 2018.  Additionally, he is an EOP Advisor. 

Alvina Vue

Alvina is an Academic Advisor and Admissions specialist who works closely with EOP transfer students and she’s been at Chico State a little more than a year. She was born and raised in Sacramento. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from UC Berkeley and her master’s in counseling (specializing in career counseling) from Sacramento State. She is deeply passionate about working with first-generation students, and loves helping students to achieve their goals.
