Amidst a global pandemic the world is learning how to adjust and redevelop…well, everything! With a focused lens on education, we look into what that has been like for faculty and students. How it has varied from professor to professor and even some of the positives this experience has provided our students.

Paul Bailey is a Mathematics educator whose specialties include English language acquisition and equity in content-specific class settings. Paul is a first-generation Chicanx college graduate.

Rajvir K. Duhra

Rajvir K. Duhra

Rajvir K. Duhra is currently a second-year student Chico state majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. After graduation she is planning to pursue a career in law enforcement as a police officer then transitioning to a K9 officer position. Her family decided to migrate to the United States in 2008 from India, Jalandhar. This was in hopes of achieving the ‘American Dream’ and the efforts to provide her and her brother greater educational opportunities. In her free time she enjoys going on long hikes, working out, painting, writing in her journals and spending time with my friends.

Born and raised in Salinas, California also known as “The Salad Bowl of the World.” I’ve lived in Chico for three years. I am a transfer student from Butte College studying sociology and public administration. I possess a passion for fashion, literature, and social justice.

George bell a third year Communication major with a minor in Multicultural Gender Studies. He is a student leader and inclusion coordinator in the Cross Cultural Leadership Center. He has a passion for working with youth and helping people find their passion.

Bri Guerrero

Bri is from San Francisco. She received her BA in Social Work and Womxn’s studies at Chico State. She is currently an MSW graduate student. Bri loves hanging outdoors with her dog Pinto, she is a plant lady and enjoys going to music festivals. She hopes to inspire others to affirm all individuals to be their authentic selves.
