Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge and are mindful that CSU, Chico stands on lands that were originally occupied by the first people of this area, and we recognize the Mechoopda and their distinctive spiritual relationship with this land and the waters that run through campus. We are humbled that our campus resides upon sacred lands that once sustained the Mechoopda people for centuries and continue to do so today.

Maybe you would crack open the door and talk for a few minutes. Or like our guests today, maybe you would invite technology in with open arms, and spend the rest of your life working with it to enhance teaching, learning, and overall social growth.
Our three guests today new at an early age tech was the industry for them. Listen in to learn about their journeys as first-generation students majoring and working in tech, highlights along the way, and challenges moving forward.
